Our Business

We began our art and our work together when we were married in 1994. Our card business, Mustard Seed Designs, was founded on the desire to create cards that were sensitive to those who might not be getting well physically and to those who were grieving. 

The selection of our cards has increased to include cards for all occasions, and life celebrations. Our original watercolors are reproduced on the front of each card to make them a unique and creative way to remember and honor those special people in our lives.

We also want to show our concern for the environment, so we use recycled paper and envelopes. 

We give a donation to Hospice work from the sale of some of our cards.

Who We Are

We met doing hospice work in Uvalde, TX.

Edwin was doing an internship from Taos, NM and I was working as the Volunteer Coordinator for the local hospice.

Both artists, we were drawn to each other and the beauty of the Texas Hill Country. 

Today, Edwin is a Hospice Chaplain for  a national hospice in San Antonio.  I work as a free-lance graphic artist and part time Public Relations and Marketing Manager for a residential facility for homeless pregnant and parenting teens.
