Mustard Seed Designs

When I was 4, I took my first art lesson at the Witte Museum.  It has remained a lifelong passion.
At 6, I ran away from home – to the McNay Art Museum.  I loved it there and wanted it to be my home.  I still find myself by being home and doing what I love: painting, creating, designing. It is as much a part of me as breathing.  

In the 7th grade, I came home from school to find that my mother had painted a Wisteria on one wall in our bathroom.  I learned from my mother to follow my heart… and that it was okay to break some of the rules.  

As a new mom myself, I traveled 5 hours each week to take watercolor lessons from Caroline Shelton at the Southwest School of Art and Craft.  Water media has always been healing and transforming for me.  

God gives us each different talents, it’s up to us to say yes…to pursue it and let it be a part of our soul’s journey… and use it to bring love, joy and good to the world in our own way.  I keep striving to do that!
